Welcome to Maasai Mara University. The core purpose of a University is learning, and at its best, a University is a community of learners. To learn is to be changed and the deeper and more profound is the learning, the more significant is the change. Our website will, we hope, give you a flavor of what makes our University special, in terms of our Academic expertise. The Maasai Mara University is dedicated to its mission to be a World Cass University committed to Academic excellence for development. Society is changing rapidly in ways which will have a profound impact on the role of Universities. The 21st century will see changes that innovation brings, will have a major effect on the way people work and the kinds of jobs they do. In a world where change is the norm, however, one thing is certain - knowledge will be a key resource and will be highly sought. The challenge - shared by all Universities - is to help to generate the intellectual property which will create new jobs, and to educate and train people to work in fields where they will be valued both for their specialized knowledge, and for their ability research, communicate and solve problems. Key to meeting these challenges is the need to build on the alliances and collaborative partnerships the University has established with business, industry, government, and other research institutions. With the help and support of the dedicated & high caliber faculty, talented students & competent staff, Maasai Mara University is striving hard to achieve many milestones. I am confident that with the commitment of my colleagues and prayers of our well-wishers, Maasai Mara University will become paragon of excellence. The establishment of University of Maasai Mara University has opened a new era in the domain of higher education in this region.
