Maasai Mara University has been lauded for being a center of attraction to overseas students who visit Kenya for research, vacation and community building initiatives.
This has been attested through a courtesy call by international students who visited the institution marveling on the serene learning environment despite Maasai Mara University sitting in a semi-arid area. The students were drawn from eight countries across the globe; namely United States of America (USA), South Africa, Argentina, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Malawi, Ethiopia not forgetting those from Kenyan universities. The students have been at the Africa Hope Society for a missionary mission and zealously sought to set foot at Maasai Mara University to interact with Maasai Mara University students hence exchange ideas and experiences.
The international students work under the watch of YouthHOPE and an international Christian organization that prioritizes nurturing responsible professionals at a youthful age for posterity. They were toured around the Varsity right from the treasured Botanical Garden, lecture halls and hostels. In charge was the Directorate of Marketing and Public Relations led by the Acting Director Priscah Nchoe.
