The Directorate of Marketing and Public Relations is a new Directorate established the early year 2017. to strengthen the university's image and publicity by communicating in clarity and integrity the achievements, events, academic programmes and services of MMARAU, its students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators to the media, the public and the MMARAU community in a timely, reliable and accurate manner.
The Directorate has so far established a draft communication policy, that is undergoing review in relevant university organs before ratification, which shall provide general guidelines governing internal communication, official university publications, communication with the mass media, MMU global email, electronic and online venues and broadcast news coverage that reflect on the role, scope, mission, structure, and identity of MMARAU.
