High hopes of Maasai Mara University students bagging prizes in ongoing National Capital Markets University Challenge have been amplified by two students qualifying for the semi-final stage of the competition.
Lorna Waweru Wanjiru and Robin Juma now have an exceptional task of lighting the world of capital markets with skills and knowledge earned at Maasai Mara University. The two topped among ten contestants who presented research papers centered on the harnessing opportunities offered by capital markets.
The two will face-off other competitors from other universities countrywide in the Fourth stage before the final one dubbed grand finale which will see the winning student bag cash prizes and learning materials to their universities.
This is an inter-university competition that will primarily focus on testing the participants’ knowledge and understanding of capital markets and financial issues.
