KAPLONG GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL VISIT
Maasai Mara University is glad to have hosted form four students from Kaplong Girls’ High School. The visit exposed the students to a real University environment. It was a great opportunity for the girls to gain knowledge about Maasai Mara University, especially in the targeted Health department and ICT section.
The students and over 18 staff members toured various sections of the university including the African Medicinal Botanical Garden (AMBG)/Model Tree Nursery where they were guided by Mr. Galfen Omuse of the Botanical Garden.
The Director of Public Relations and Linkages, Dr. Edward Kateiya, the Coordinator Office of Career Services and Placement Services, Dr. Patrick Gudda, and the Coordinator of Center for Outreach, Mr. Masago mentored the students on a range of issues like programs offered, career choices, how to realize dreams among other things.
The students were amazed by the university environment, infrastructure, and botanical garden and looked forward to joining the University.
