The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Peninah Aloo-Obudho officially opened the training. She was accompanied by the DVC, AF&S. Prof James Nampushi, Acting DVC Research, innovation and outreach, Prof. Mburu, Registrar Academics Affairs and Administration and Stragey Dr. Fedrick Otieno and Mr. Samwel Partoip respectively, Director TVETI Prof Stela Kirui, Deans of Schools, Heads of Department, Directorates’ Directors, management and staff. The VC emphasized the importance of the Standardization process as an important asset and tool for service efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, Improving quality of education, strengthening IMS , reducing risks of cybercrimes, enhancing compliance with data protection laws. Additionally, she mentioned that the process is a major step towards preparation for the CBC education and aligning the University to conform to the global standards. The V.C emphasized that the year 2025 Is the year of break-through, the year of celebration, the year of preaching achievements, success, teamwork and stability. She urged the staff to shun negative publicity and rebrand the University .
