MAASAI MARA UNIVERSITY GRACES LESHUTA SECONDARY ACADEMIC AND THANKS GIVING DAY

The University , in its journey of new beginning, adopted Leshuta secondary school as one of its school in Narok County. Leshuta Secondary is sandwiched between the Leshuta plains and the Loita hills.
The University graced the academic and thanks giving day at Leshuta Secondary 15th March 2025. The University team was led by Prof. Prof. Stella Kirui, Director TVETI and accompanied by representatives from the Centre for Community Outreach and the Directorate of Public Relation and Linkages. Prof. Kirui represented the Vice-Chancellor.
This occasion marked the first academic and thanksgiving Day at the School . 2024 KCSE candidates were honoured for their remarkable achievements under an atmosphere of pride and promise.
The University, as a beacon of hope and holistic education, where knowledge for prosperity is guaranteed to shape tomorrow's leaders was at the Centre of the event. Prof. Kirui inspired the students and all present showcasing the role of the University in dispensation of Community service, academics and research. Prof. Kirui also illuminated the key pillars of the University.

Prof. Kirui urged the finest in the school's centennial history to chase their dreams with unwavering resolve. "Conquer, as the Lord expects of us all," she proclaimed, her voice echoing with purpose and faith . with the promise of tomorrow, she lauded the school's remarkable achievement in the last year’s KCSE exams: 2B plain, 7B minus, 18C plus, 14 C plain and 6C minus, a mean grade of 6.68 which is C+. She urged hose with C+ and above to join Maasai Mara University and to those with bellow C+ to register with the University TVET.
In a symbolic gesture, Prof. Stella Kirui and other prominent guests planted tree seedlings donated by the University as a living testament to the seeds of knowledge sown that day. As its roots dig deep and its branches reach skyward, so too shall the ambitions of the young scholars who bore witness to this moment, their paths now intertwined with the legacy of those who dared to dream. The future, much like the sapling, promises to grow tall and mighty, nurtured by knowledge, wisdom, and the enduring spirit of Maasai Mara University.
