Maasai Mara University held a Prayer Day under the theme ‘Empowered through Faith and Service.’ The event was graced by council member Amb. Peter Ole Nkuraiyia, CBS, and hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Peninah Aloo-Obudho.
Distinguished clergy members in attendance included Bishop Peter Nakola, Bishop Dr. Augustine Rugut, and Pastor Robert Kahora, who led the university fraternity in powerful moments of prayer and reflection.
The occasion also featured the symbolic planting of trees as a gesture of hope, resilience, and spiritual growth. This initiative aligns with KRA 9: ‘MAOMBI KWA WOTE’ SPIRITUAL WELLBEING, specifically SO 9.1, which aims to strengthen the spiritual wellbeing of the University fraternity and the community, reflecting Maasai Mara University’s dedication to fostering faith-driven academic and personal excellence.
