University and ABSA Bank Explores Areas of Collaboration of Development

The university Hosted a team from ABSA bank for partnerships and collaborations meeting. The two institutions discussed possible areas of collaborations: Research, Small and Medium, Size Enterprises (SMES), Green energy and solar installations, Assets and Insurances financing, joint conferences, systems integrations and Smart card systems among others.
The teams also discussed about ABSA Bank foundation and explored how it can be used for the mutual interests and benefit for community development. The team visited the Botanical Garden and planned trees.
The University was represented by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Peninah Aloo-Obudho, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, finance and Strategy Prof. James Nampushi, Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Outreach, Prof. Francis Mburu and Dean
School of Business and Economics Dr. Maurice Ombok .
ABSA team comprised of Jackson Ole Kulet, Branch Manager, Narok, Isaac Okello, regional SME manager, western and rift, Hilda Kiplagat, Asset Finance, Caroline Chepkwony, Bancassurance, Christopher Muthama, Relationship Manager, Narok Branch and Abdullahi Shafat, LARVSA Manager.
