THE UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE WORLD CHAMBERS FEDERATION AFRICA SUMMIT 2025

Led by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Peninah Aloo-Obudho, the University is participating in the World Chambers Federation Africa Summit 2025 convention. This is after the University and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry had recently signed an MOU.

The event themed : Africa’s Global Future: Integrated, Innovative, and Sustainable aims to unlock the continent’s potential through trade, investment and sustainable  development, has leading global investors.
Various leaders, industry experts, policymakers, and industry are exploring how intra-African trade, innovation, and strategic global partnerships can accelerate the continent’s growth trajectory.

Apart from showcasing University innovations, research, programme, fostering partnerships and collaborations, the summit. Has a series of plenary sessions focusing on:

  • Trade digitalization to SME inclusion through standards, legal reform, and innovation
  • Leveraging AfCFTA to integrate Africa into global value chains
  • Empowering women in trade and business
  • Bridging the financial divide to unlock inclusive growth
